Introducing the improved and redesigned arri portable fixtures, the arrilite 750 plus, which has taken over from the former arri open-faced light, the arrilite 800/1000; and the arrilite 2000 plus which will take over the existing arrilite 2000.By optimising the arrimax reflector for use with an hpl* 750w lamp, the arrilite 750 plus offers 21% higher light efficiency than the previous arrilite 800w. Meanwhile, the arrimax optical system improves distribution of the light. A detachable and fully rotatable accessory holder accommodates scrims and barndoors, and incorporates fittings that permit the chimera video pro plus s to be fitted directly, without an additional speedring.Arrilite 2000 also uses the arrimax reflector although still incorporates the same lamp type fex.The arrilite 750 one-arm stirrup allows for easy pan-and-tilt operation, while a brake disc system securely locks off the fixture once it has been positioned.  An additional heat-proof handle at the rear of the lamphead enables easy manoeuvring, especially when the unit is in use and being handled.No tools are required for changing bulbs as the housing consists simply of two detachable parts that open and close through bayonet cap locks. The smaller and lighter aluminium housing of the arrilite 750 plus has been designed to improve heat dissipation.
