FX-VS40 is a V-mount Hot-Swap plate with internal battery. Attach the V-mount Hot-Swap plate on device, and attach back battery on the plate, when remove back battery or back battery voltage under 11.7V, it will automatically switch to internal battery to power device. So there no need to switch off the cameras with this Hot-Swap plate. The internal battery can discharge at a high rate, working current 20A maximum, or power 200W maximum. The Hot-Swap plate With OLED screen to display countdown seconds when back battery is removed or voltage under 11.7V, the screen will countdown from 120s maximum. You need to put on a new battery before it count down to 0s. This Hot-Swap plate With 1*USB-C In/Output, 2*D-Tap Output, and 2*USB-C Output port meet different requires.
