The SkyPanel X22 Soft & Hard Light Package delivers a powerful 2:2 all-weather LED panel that can work as a powerful long-throw hard light with two HyPer Optics, as a wide-coverage soft light with two X21 Domes, or directly as a large open-face fixture for bouncing. With native CRMX2, BLE and Bluetooth 5.0, four Ethernet ports, 16 pixel zones and an ALL-WEATHER Control Panel, that works both as an integrated display and a remote device, the X22 offers the easiest workflow without compromising in output, color quality and connectivity.

Introduced as a modular system and configurable into different sizes (X21, X22, X23), SkyPanel X offers native soft and hard light technology, setting a new bar not only in terms of dimming and color science, but also in lux output and beam quality for medium to long throws. With up to 4,800 lux at 10 m / 32.8 ft and eight pixels per panel; dynamic CCT range of 1,500 K – 20,000 K; RGBACL full-spectrum color engine; wireless control; integrated power supply; advanced networking possibilities; and an IP66 rating, the SkyPanel X is an all-weather lighting solution tailored to existing workflows.

The X22 square panel

X21 Dome

The X21 Dome is a simple, high-quality diffuser that can be easily mounted and detached from the X21 lamphead. This convenient tool is included with every X21 luminaire and is fully compatible with third-party accessories such as DoPchoice’s SNAPBOX® SNOOT, SNAPBAG®, and SNAPGRID®.

ARRI’s SkyPanel X brings advanced LED technology to the fore, embodying a flexible core concept. This modular light panel adapts to various size requirements, broadening possibilities and addressing the extensive needs of a modern set. It offers three configurations: X21 (a 2:1 unit), X22 (an expanded 2:2 surface), and X23 (a large 2:3 panel), capable of generating either wide soft light or intense hard light, regulated via HyPer Optics or X21 Domes.

With ARRI’s quick-lock system, setting up your modular light is a breeze. Choose between a traditional yoke or spigots directly on the frames, and configure your large fixture as an array in just two minutes, including wiring. It’s quick, reliable, and really bright.

8 Pixel Zones per Panel

The HyPer Optic offers a high-contrast pixel look with solid, saturated colouts and no light leak between zones. Every pixel is made from a 3×3 square of individually lenses LED clusters and is internally blocked from its neighbouring pixels.
