Unwanted electrical equipment is one of the UK’s fastest growing waste streams. Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment.
Prolight Direct Ltd is fully compliant to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2006.
We are partnered with Valpak Retail WEEE Services (which will handle our WEEE obligations on our behalf.)
We offer in-store take back on a one-for-one basis for items brought from ourselves, displaying the WEEE Symbol.
This symbol indicates that the product should not be discarded as unsorted waste but must be sent to separate collection facilities for recovery and recycling.
Batteries Should be taken to your local recycling centre or alternatively your local supermarket should have a free battery collection box as pictured left.
